Australian mainstream culture it can be argued is predominantly caucasian, of british (anglo-saxon) origin, modern views of the world largely align themselves with other western cultures such as those of the United Kingdom, the United States and Western Europe. There is a strong link to Christianity in the country's professed moral beliefs although these might not be followed at an individual level.
